What is hammer down? Hammer Down refers to the moments when you dig deep to achieve your goals. It is the moments when you dare to push past your comfort zones and capture the greatness that you are capable of. Kate’s designs highlight these moments with unique style and locally sourced materials.
Her love of the outdoors took root in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, but has expanded to the Wild Mountains of Wyoming. Hammer Down Jewelers captures the charm of those mountains and the adventures that happen within them.
Her inspiration for bike jewelry sparked one day when she was admiring the internal workings of a clipless pedal. Instead of throwing the pedal away (like they often are) she decided to deconstruct the pedal and give it new purpose as fine jewelry.
